Let's Meet Up this Thursday 6/1 + Check Me Out on the News!
Mas Vino DTLA Wine Meet Up is Back!
Last week, for #NationalWineDay, I was on the featured on Scripps News Morning Rush! Big thanks and shoutout to Lindsay for having me on the show and letting me share a little bit about natural wine and why it matters! Check out the full segment below. Also, omg pls send ring light recs because I did not properly light myself lol. Noted for my next TV moment.
On Thursday June 1 I’ll be back with my friend’s IlCaffe in DTLA for another Mas Vino DTLA Wine Meet Up! We had such a blast last time, we figured we’d do it again! ;) This week I’ve curated some sexy, fun Southern mediterranean wines just for you! There will also be a pasta truck and good vibes from 6-9PM. Tell your friends! Or come alone and meet new friends! Either way, get ready to drink some wine and start the weekend with me <3 **As always, wine flights are $15 + wines by the glass and the bottle!
Andrea, your views are of course valid. It's a matter of opinion. Allow me to throw out my opinion. For me, having a "critical" opinion on wine, based on extensive study, tasting and experience is a necessary component of having an opinion that can actually matter to others. Putting countless hours into wine has its own payback in terms of enjoyment of wine for me and countless hours. Uninformed opinions have a place, but not for me or my friends. I don't believe dumbing down the wine experience helps the wine community. The same way sharing dining comments with a habitual McDonalds aficionado adds little or nothing to the conversation on good food. I prefer to drink wine from those vignerons who are fully invested in making fine wine, whether if at less than $15/ bottle or over $30 a bottle. Thanks for allowing me to share my personal viewpoint.
